Description: A key-shaped blade apparently made of lines of diamond-like material, when in a solid state. When tilted at different angles tiny binary coding is reflected in different hues along the veins. Binary coding and pixelation seems to drift from the blade itself. It tends to not stay in one place when not being used. Occasionally the blade glitches out so he'll miss, or another solid object will be unable to hit it. Unfortunately the effect spreads when equipped in hand, and then there's a flipping out 'where is my arm' or, in more extreme cases- 'where am I' moment.

Name: GLITCHRUPT

Command Deck: An energy based command style, which is as obnoxiously inconsistent as its user- activating at its own convenience or when Mason is in danger. It doesn't take much to work either into a hyper state. This command style allows Mason to move at high speeds, create illusions, manipulate static, and take advantage of holes in defense at alarming rates. While a majority of glitchrupt affects technology / electricity, when in sync with his blade it has been known to affect sound and light. Unfortunately the more fast-and-loose he plays, the more trouble he has stopping and the more mistakes he seems to make himself- and the more his own blade affects him.

Static: Thunder energy is accumulated with rapid movements, sparks practically coming off of him as he gains momentum and energy builds up within. Each attack releases a 10% increment of voltage stored, with each post accumulating (100V x level) with a maximum of (1000V x level < 130kV cap). Mason can attack using static once per post, however: Touching him while he's working up a spark or coming into any contact with metals will result in a tazing with the amount of volts he has built up so far. Not only does this rid of everything he's got charged, it can be exhausting- exerting more than half of total possible build up will mean waiting until he accumulates the difference again in order to be able to use another move. External electrical or lightning energy he comes into contact with gets absorbed and re-purposed up to the maximum amount he can handle at the time.

Lag > Play > Fast Forward: Mason will move at such speeds that he seems stationary for a brief moment, then a slow crawl of a visual of his actions will become visible following all of the motions he went through. Assuming they weren't struck down and can see what was going on. One normal minute's worth of action is crammed into two seconds, and 100v is required per minute/2 seconds. This hyper-movement ability allows for him to avoid things such as whiplash at 'normal' high speeds. Once used, he is slowed significantly if more than a third of his voltage is used for one post, and cannot use 'fast forward' for another four after.

Distortion: Affecting sights and sounds around him, distortion affects his surroundings with noises and visuals in battle or high-stress situations without his consent (emotes, wingdings during mental curses in thought bubbles, dial-up or reboot noises when in deep thought, etc.). In later levels when he can control this, however, he could create illusions such as a distraction or a double of himself to bring attention in another direction and strike advantageously. A consciously constructed illusion would cost him at least 400v as it requires some concentration, depending on the size and quality.
